Straight from the floors of Leipzig, Sony has announced they will be releasing a wireless keypad for Playstation 3 controllers. With PS3 Accessories, this keypad will be very similar to the keypad that Microsoft sells for Xbox 360 controllers. The new PS3 keypad will attach through the USB port on top of the controller. The keypad will have the ability to enable the touchpad as a mouse. In addition to the mouse ability, there are two buttons used to jump to two pre-set features: a communication button and a message box button. This new keypad will help users communicate better with other gamers as well as navigate more smoothly while web browsing. The retail price for the keypad has yet to be announced.
