It took me a long time, but I eventually gave in to the advantages of cloud-based computing and remote data backup. To be honest, one of the reasons that I waited so long to take full advantage of this technology was that the phrase “cloud-based” had always seemed to bring up images that were not clear, and, well, “cloudy”, and that did not give me the right sort of feeling. However, once I fully understood what “the cloud” was and how I could benefit from it, I was fully ready to leave behind the images of my data floating randomly in the sky and forge ahead into the 21st century.
