I used to wake up exhausted all the time. It seems I would either have a bad dream or sleep restlessly throughout the night causing me to have very little deep sleep needed to feel fresh the next morning. For years this went on and on. I was to a point of desperation. When I talked with my family physician I expected him to suggest different sleeping pills or some sort of therapy to help me “deal” with my demons. I had tried sleeping pills before and always felt horrible the next day. They really didn’t make things better. To my surprise, he suggested seeing a hypnotist. I hadn’t even considered this an option. He told me he had learned through hypnotism how to control his dreams and sleep patterns. I gave it a try and have been sleeping better ever since.
