My husband and I are thinking of starting our own business. We think that we might hire other friends and family members at first and have them work part time for some extra money until we get things going. However, we are eventually going to have to hire outsiders if the business really takes off. If we do so, we will definitely want to check to see whether or not they have a criminal record since there will be a lot of valuable equipment around and we don’t want to take any unneccessary risks. Can anyone tell me the best way to go about this?
