Wii Play was released on the same day as the Wii console along with Wii Sports and Zelda Twilight Princess. Without a doubt Zelda was the best of these three games. The other two titles serve as little more than technical demonstrations of the way the Wii remote can be used. Despite this they have become the most popular titles on the Wii. This is because they come bundled with hardware. Wii Sports comes with the console, Wii Play with Wii remote and Fit comes with a balance board. Any idea that games were selling because of their quality was shattered by Wii Music’s low sales in comparison with Wii Play.
