When you opt to place in a key lockbox to seal the key to your home – not only have you eased up the process of selling your home property, you’ve also ensured that no burglars could easily break in your territory without having to make a scene. But if you refuse to experience the convenience of setting up one key lockbox for your home, it’ll only create so much hassle for you and everybody else who gets involved with your home (like the prospect buyer, the real estate agent, etc.) Without one, you have to be around when a potential buyer comes by with their real estate agent to open the house up (believe me, this instance could be quite awkward for the buyer and you wouldn’t want that, do you?). Although you have the option to leave your door unlocked – that is plain stupidity by today’s security standards. Another alternative is to give a key to your listing agent – passing the burden to the listing agent as he/she would always have to be present when another agent brought a buyer to the home.
