Wake Initiated Lucid Dreaming is a concept I need to become more familiar with. As lucid dreams techniques go it is hard for me to understand. As I read about them it is going from the waking to the sleeping state. When my wife was being informed by the doctors that they had lost me I remember being completely awake and conscious of what was going on all around me and in the hallway where she was seated. My body lay on the bed where it was being subjected to bolts of electricity as I watched. It did not feel as if I were dreaming but suddenly I knew it was time to go back to my body.
