I usually attempt to get most of the year’s clothing shopping done right after we get our tax return in May. Money is tight for our family throughout the year, so I shop in early May and try to anticipate the needs for my kids and myself; sometimes I will go as far as to pick up dress clothes for the holidays. If we end up needing extras, like boys shirts or a new pair of shoes for one of the girls, at some point throughout the year, I usually just hop online and order. The prices online are always a lot better than at the store, plus there is more selection for my picky kids!
