Last year, our beloved dog died after twelve wonderful years with us. Our kids took his death very hard, and we knew that we needed to take a break before we got another pet. A few weeks ago my kids started to show interest in getting a pet, and we asked them what kind they were thinking of. They both said that they wanted Chinese Dwarf Hamsters, one for each of them. They promised to take care of them, and said that they would keep their cages nice and clean. We bought everything we would need from the pet store, and now our kids have their own pets.
