Every time I go to the zoo I insist on going to the aquarium exhibit. I get mesmerized by staring into aquariums. When I was little the tank in my room helped me fall asleep at night and there was just something peaceful about watching the fish swim around inside the tank. I had a nice little 10 gallon setup – in retrospect it wasn’t anything to write home about but to a little boy it was just darn cool to have. Later I even put shrimp and lobster and eventually turtles into the tank. I’d advise against putting turtles into a tropical fish tank as they tend to eat the fish.
