What you want to avoid when burning Xbox 360 games for the purpose of making backup copies is the situation where your XBox 360 refuses to play your backup copies because it doesn’t recognise the backup discs as being authentic Xbox media. This why the call went out for an effective hack for that would trick the XBox 360 console into thinking that backup copy discs were in fact original purchased copies. Two of the methods that have been promoted to date have been modding your Xbox 360 (which is adding a modification chip to the console’s motherboard) or by flashing the XBox firmware. In my opinion neither of these methods is as good as using purpose built software such as Game Copy Wizard when it comes to backing up XBox 360 games.
