The visual Crystal Reports basic and standard are basically the same and don’t have much of anything new but the new Crystal Report 2008 has more new additions than the basic and standard such as integrated design tools in the Design Studio. Many people that are unsure about purchasing crystal reports or are being introduced to it for the first time are allowed a free 30-day trial which after registering will get you a registration or temporary license number which you will need to put in during the installation process. But beware; the code will come to your email in a welcome message and don’t just mistake it for a welcome message because you will need this code during your registration or installation process.
