I remember when I was a small child and my parents got their first credit card. They were very proud because it was difficult to get a credit card and it was proof that they were financially responsible. Again, this was a long time ago. Today credit card debt is ruining people’s lives. The credit card companies have shifted to being very lenient on handing out their product. People who do not even have jobs such as students are able to obtain credit card. It doesn’t make sense to give credit cards to people who have absolutely no money at all.
