Pop rock is often thought to be without soul and a product of mass media conglomerates, rather than the creative output of actual musicians. Classical, reggae, blues and Creole music all have roots that are traditional and of a true cultural background, whereas pop rock is the imaginative outcome of a few music industry giants.
